Happy Birthday, ~C

Birthday Greetings to my dear friend, ~C, in Houston.

I have known ~C since I was 9 years old, when our fathers were stationed at the Marine Corps Logistics Base, in Albany, GA.

~C's younger sister and I were best friends, and I thought ~C was the coolest big brother in the world.

~C took me to my first rock concert in 1973.
We saw Grand Funk Railroad at Asbury Park, NJ.

Our parents were dear friends and our families visited each other over the years. When ~C's father retired, his family moved to Georgia so our families could continue their special friendship.



Although our parents are gone, ~C and I have continued that friendship. He visited us from Houston a couple of years ago.

I guess you could say ~C is like family to me...

    You are so kind-hearted. In all honesty, I would love to be paid to write. I feel my best when I can just sit and write. I truly love it.

    I buy the lime popsicles from Whole Fruit. That's the name of the brand. They are only 70 calories per popsicle. Not bad!
