We took a detour and spent a couple of days in the area Hubby goes star-gazing.The Apache Creek Valley is beautiful this time of year with yellow cottonwoods lining the creek. We had our last campfire and cookout of the trip while listening to bugling elks.
This has been a wonderful trip, but we are anxious to get home!
