Such a shock about UGA. Had no idea your anniversary was yesterday. Lady and Big Dad's is today. In November 1945 he came home from NY after the surrender in Tokyo Bay on September 9 (?). Got in on a Tuesday; they married on Saturday. He had been at sea over a year. He had to return to NY. Mamma went up for Christmas on the Mighty Mo. He mustered out in March of 1946. The rest, as they say, is history!
Grow old with me, the best is yet to be.
