Sunday is for Family

Daddy
USMC Post

I believe the happiest times of Daddy's life were the 20 years he was in the Marine Corps. He was proud to be a jarhead.

Happy Trails,

  13. Actually there's a story behind this picture. This is the day he met your mother. She was bowling in the lane next to him and mentioned to her girlfriends what a cute guy he was. He overheard her, bought her a coke and the rest is history!

At least that's how I'll imagine it! :)

  21. Your old family pictures are great.

My wife and I really like old pictures. She has just finished a DVD of 186 family pictures for her mother's 90th birthday. I'm sure her mother will enjoy it. Last February I made a DVD of old family pictures (some as old as 100 years)for my sister and took it from Michigan to Florida. She died of lung cancer 15 days later. I was so glad I could do that for her and bring just little happines.
