    Hi Kit, I was on the computer from 10 am till 12 pm. Your comment was not here!! Blogger so being a bitch lately!! You left a comment at 8:30 something...... It should have been on my blog!! That is why you got my email. So glad you were able to find squash plants. We couldn't find ny around here. We have 4 butternuts going with 6 seeding just coming up. But no summer squash growing around here!!! Yellow summer squash is my #1 faviorite!!!

    Missed the final line when I first viewed the post. I doubt most of us can fathom even what the "some" was much less the "all." We need to be ever grateful for all who have served in unimaginable conditions. It was something Daddy could never talk about. When they left in WWII, they generally didn't return until it was over. And as noted, some never returned. Open-ended service. Let's give thanks! SH
