Rednecks?

You might be a Redneck,

if you have an RV...

and a boat parked in your yard.

Yep, we bought a used pontoon boat.
We're headed back to the lake next week.
Has anyone had experience with a doggy ramp or dog stairs on a boat?
I would appreciate any suggestions or advice.
Thanks!

  2. I thought the ramp looked pretty cool (and was screaming at the lady when she was trying to pull that dog up by its collar), but then I noticed that it really dipped down in the water when the larger dog was climbing up on it. I think that it might not work some dogs.

  4. congrats! looks like a nice one! so perfect for the dogs...we had a pontoon for years and the dogs absolutely loved it (so did we!) no experience with ramp or stairs...we had the boat on a pier and when we were in the lake, we just hauled them in with brute strength!
    have fun...i'm jealous!!

  5. RV, yes. Boat, nope. I bet the Herd would love to party on a pontoon boat, though.

  6. Very Nice! Perhaps a ladder with wider, slip proof rungs with a strong folding bracket to hold it at an angle? Dogs are smarter than we give them credit for. Otherwise, I don't know, I think a lift would scare them,

  7. Hi Ms. K!!!
Madi and I think your yard looks splendid!!! May we join you on your outing. HA.
At last night's gathering there was a pool. Their border collie Jill has a ramp to get in and out of the pool they say it works like a charm...
    Happy sailing,
    Madi and Mom

  8. I have a 20' pontoon boat. NO steps or ramp. Mom or dad just pick me up and put me on..except when we are actually docked. I can do it all by myself then. You will have a ball. Enjoy your time on the lake. I do suggest life vests... the kind that has a Handle on them. You can help a swimming dawg up with that.

  15. We are so jealous! We have a nice 5th wheel, but no fabulous boat! Can we go camping/boating with you? You have really cool "toys". Let's see, we are on the West Coast . . . .
