Monday's Memory

We haven't seen any bears this summer, which is a good thing for both humans and bears.

Sassy and I haven't forgotten this visitor from last September.

I think I got a couple shots of a Bald Eagle at Lake Hartwell last week.
What do you think?

  2. I remember your bear visitor! You did really well in getting pictures of the eagle. It's so hard to catch birds in flight!

  4. That's an amazing video! I guess it's a good thing you didn't have something better in that bird feeder! :-)) I also just saw an eagle as well--But wasn't quick enough to get a picture. They really are exciting to see and when we lived in Alaska, I never got tired of seeing them.

Raider came running over to my laptop when he heard Sassy!
I asked him if he'd be brave enough to scare off a black bear?!
    Thank goodness you haven't seen
    the bears this summer!

  6. I think that is a really scary movie. Like that bear totally climbed up on to your deck and was eating the bird food and everything and even though he ran away when you barked he didn't seem to be in much of a hurry. I hope he doesn't come back.

  9. WELCOME BACK MS. K,
Madi and I could watch that video 100 times and still cackle when we hear Sassy...the only female in the pack...giving that bear a piece of her mind. I expect all the men in the family were sleeping.MOL

We love the Bald Eagles picture.

  10. Bear - I am terrified of bears, that's the stuff that nightmares are made of!
Looks like an eagle but not sure which kind. Not really "stomping grounds" for either Bald or Golden, according to field maps.

    Have a good day!

  18. I would love to see a bear, but not when I'm walking my dogs - just from the car or something. I've seen where they've been but have never seen one around.
