Monday's Mosaic Memory ~Flannery

Flannery
1976-1989

It took Flannery several years to mature, and he often challenged my patience, but he was one of the friendliest, funniest, most intelligent and affectionate dogs I have ever owned.

If you've ever owned or known an Irish Setter, you can relate to Gary Larson's cartoon.

  4. I love The Farside! I have found that there's always a dog that tries your patience and you know that if they were human they would be able to speak 7 languages--Flannery sounds like one of those pups, and fortunate it was you who was his forever family! Our dog Rudi is also a very bright dog, that suffered from "Dumb Owner Syndrome" for the first year of her life by being part of 3 families that didn't understand her--I have to admit that at first I didn't either. But I find her to be the most intellegent (and the flakiest) dog we've ever had.

  14. Hi Kit,
I have never owned a IS before but had a girlfriend that did so I got to know her dog well. The little carton says it all. That was her dog to a tea!!
I like a dog that doesn't have lots of hair (a short coat):)
I love the Greyhound spirt too.
    Bambi is part whippet.
