  1. That is an ugly little creature! I hate ticks. Felt one crawling on my back the other night and of course I did the Tick Dance and he dropped on the concrete. Low and behold he found me again! He was crawling on my leg! Hope you didn't get bit.

  9. Ticks are no fun.......but we have them EVERYWHERE in MA, and there is a huge percentage of them that are infected with Lyme! Two of my family members have had Lyme....I haven't yet....But no wonder as we live only a couple hours away from Lyme, CT, where it's the worst.

  12. Those ticks are the grossest things to look at when they are all engorged. We get our treatment monthly to keep them away. But Phantom freaks out when he sees or smells that vial.

  13. AbHOR those little monsters! In summer here, the ticks tend to stay away, replaced by horrid flea populations - ticks don't like the dry grasses, but the rest of the year, we have to check ALL the time - they are ruthless little suckers! Poor doggies, but oooof - yucky job to remove. Thanks for the reminding!

  14. I hate ticks! A tick gave me Rocky Mt. Spotted Fever a decade ago and gave Alex Lyme Disease. If I never see another tick, I would be very happy. They are dangerous blood sucking beasts! Lots of love, Debbie and Holly

  25. On no! Tick! I have had the bad tick sickies twice and it is no fun. We use the frontline and do tick check but I guess you can't always find them all, especially on dark fur doggies such as myself.
