Apple Thieves

While we were vacationing at the lake a few weeks ago, "something" had its way with the apple tree.

The tree was stripped of all the apples, and many limbs were broken in the process.

We were fairly certain of the culprits, and sure enough, they returned to the scene of the crime today.

Sorry about the poor quality;
they weren't interested in a photo shoot.

Momma was beautiful and appeared very healthy.
If she saw me, she never reacted.

Baby Bear
(Use your imagination)

Not to worry, we are on high alert before venturing outside with the dogs, and we are
very loud!

  3. They sure aren't very respectful of your property, for shame! Maybe you could electrify the area next year - if the tree survives. Wow, I am not coming to visit you - I am a-scared of bears!

  7. Let them have the apples. They need to have a balanced diet too. I just hope they don't come back when you are around.
