Ella's Run-Oct. 25

As anyone living in North Georgia remembers, Meredith Emerson was kidnapped and murdered in January. That tragedy had an enormous impact on my life. I try to live my life fully, knowing that each day could be the last.

The Times is reporting that a 5K and one-mile fun run, honoring Meredith, is scheduled for Oct. 25. The event is being called "Ella's Run", after Meredith's black lab.
