Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So, love the people who treat you right. Forgive, and then forget about the ones who don't.

Helping with Yardwork
We've been staying busy spreading pine mulch.
After Rama shovels the mulch into the wagon,
I find a cool spot to relax...
It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it!

We have a squirrel emergency in Sassy's absence. The squirrels have gone wild and a request for special assistance has been sent to Tank at OWAS Headquarters.
Kit, Try sprinkling a few tablespoons of cayenne pepper in the bird seed. It doesn't affect them but might give the squirrels a hot tongue! That's of course, if they are not the kind of squirrels that ENJOY hot stuff!
Hi Kit and Buddy Boy you guys are working too hard (Kit) and hardly working (Buddy). Pace yourselves. I love your little red machine!!! Squirrels dang it I know they have to eat but they are hogs and bullies. Last weekend we had a darling chip monk (aka Monkey) visit. Dang squirrel jump off the deck on purpose landing right on top of Monkey. Thank goodness Monkey is little as soon as the sq. landed on all fours Monkey took off like a rocket. Y'all have a good day look out of snakes and scorpions. Cecilia
I taught primary school for 27 years, and loved every minute of it. I am now enjoying retirement on 30+ acres in the north Georgia mountains with my husband and Labrador Retrievers.
When we aren't hanging out in the woods, we enjoy traveling in our RV w/ the dogs. One of our favorite destinations is the Pacific Northwest, especially the Oregon and Washington coasts.
My parents are deceased, I am an only child and have no children; therefore, my husband and dogs are my family.
My blog and blogging friends have taken the place of my classroom and students.
You could say, I've gone from SCHOOL DAYS to DOG DAZE.

Something tells me you'll have backup in no time. I want mulch pile guard duty!
Most of the squirrels here live in the ground! There must be like 8 gazillion of them!
Cute post! Are you enjoying some peace and quiet while hubby is away? I hope so.
Hugs!
Kat
Looks like you are keeping plenty busy. Take it slow.......Buddy can only do so much.....

Those durn squirrels! They ate my moss rose and pothos ivy down to the nubs! I watched one munching to his heart's content one day.
We love the pic of Buddy! Not sure how we missed this post a few weeks ago!
