Sassy and Me
Tillicum Beach Sunset
It was difficult leaving Oregon, as always. Fortunately, we left before a huge storm hit the coast. (Surf's Up, Dude!)
We drove down the Redwood Highway (Hwy 101) and through Napa Valley-beautiful! I always feel so small and insignificant in the presence of those giant trees. After being on deserted beaches for a month we're having trouble adjusting to the traffic and multitudes of crazy drivers.
The vacation is over and we're in the "GOING HOME" mode, driving long days and staying in commercial campgrounds-not fun for the dogs. Only good thing about commercial campgrounds is wifi access.
I must say, I'm looking forward to getting home and preparing for the holidays. We have a very dear friend coming to spend Thanksgiving with us. I am also looking forward to being able to catch up with all my blogging buddies!
I'd hoped this break from blogging, (my intervention), would cure my "Blog-aholic-ism." But here I am, blogging away instead of enjoying the lovely California sunset.

Hey there Ms-K
We've followed your travels and wish you a safe journey home. That sunset is beautiful - as were ALL the pictures of the trip. Forget about curing the 'blogholism'...it won't work!

That is one beautiful picture to finish a holiday on

I would say "Dog Paradise", or even more specifically "Lab Paradise"! You're a lucky family to visit that beach for so long!
Hmmmm.....I understand about the blog. Have a safe and fun trip home.

Beautiful sunset with you and Sassy!!
Oh yeah, blog reading is addictive! The more you're away, the more you want to read and catch up!!
I'm sure I speak for all your readers: Can't wait to get our "Dog Daze" fix!! LOL
Safe drive home!
Kathy
No way is an intervention going to cure the Blogger Bug!! Looking forward to more reports, Sundays are for Family, and catching up with the Georgia Gang!! Safe travels!! xoxoxo
Hi there, I smiled when I read where you were driving-we used to live in the Sonoma valley area. So beautiful but so crowded and expensive. Camping at this time of year might not be so fun but I'm hoping you get home quickly without any troubles. Addicted to blogs-nah-that would be me except everytime we travel I can't find free wi-fi.
Blessings, Noreen
Going-home mode is always the hardest. It seems like it takes much longer to get home than it did to get to your destination to begin with!
Safe travels home!! :)
A magical picture and adventure. You may have tried to kick your blog addiction, but I'm in withdrawal from my Kit conversations. Time to plan for March and "Kit, Jan and Company's Second Great Iditarod Adventure"!
Be safe on the ride home.
Kisses to the pooches. Hi to D.

I love that photo so much :)
I know you've had a wonderful time, but no matter how fun vacations are, it's ALWAYS nice to get back home and our normal routines. Safe travels!
Hugs!

Welcome almost home!! Looks like you all had a beautiful time!!!
Smileys!
The Mama and Dory too!
Wow what a beautiful pic! It is rare to find yourself that 'alone' anymore. I am sure it will be hard to leave all of that but we look forward to hearing from you and hope you are never cured of the blog affliction!
The information here is great. I will invite my friends here.
Thanks
