Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So, love the people who treat you right. Forgive, and then forget about the ones who don't.

Newfador?
Buddy kept his eye on me whenever I went swimming in the lake. If I got out past a certain point, he came swimming after me with one thing on his mind-retrieve her! He actually nipped at my arms in an attempt to drag me to shore.
What a lovely picture! You guys look so happy together! ... Dogs sometimes know things that we don't. Good advice to trust them. Tons of licks MAXDOG IN SOUTH AFRICA ps Thanks for all your good wishes, encouragement and advice. C
This is too precious! Buddy wants to keep you around! He knows who takes those walks with him! Maybe he knows more about that water than you do! BTW, in this pic, I see some of your dad in you. You are beautiful, and he was handsome! SH
Hi Kit and Crew!!! Buddy is your DOG!!! He really does look after you. What a great picture of you two in the water. I hope his nip to save you wasn't tooooo sharp. I've been there done that. LOL Madi and Mom
This sweet post reminded me of Rex, my sister's white shepherd and bodyguard, now across the Bridge. NOBODY was allowed in or near the swimming pool when Rex was on duty unless you were sitting down in a chair away from the pool. Rex would run around the pool barking and worrying over everyone in it!! Thanks for the memory.
I taught primary school for 27 years, and loved every minute of it. I am now enjoying retirement on 30+ acres in the north Georgia mountains with my husband and Labrador Retrievers.
When we aren't hanging out in the woods, we enjoy traveling in our RV w/ the dogs. One of our favorite destinations is the Pacific Northwest, especially the Oregon and Washington coasts.
My parents are deceased, I am an only child and have no children; therefore, my husband and dogs are my family.
My blog and blogging friends have taken the place of my classroom and students.
You could say, I've gone from SCHOOL DAYS to DOG DAZE.
