Whew, It's Hot!
(See my lips sweating?)
How hot is it, Buddy?
It's so hot....
trees are whistling for dogs.
teeheehee
(BTW, We're only outside during our walks,
then it's right back in the AC.)

Not only do we have the heat to deal with, Hubby caught a copperhead in the junipers, right after the dogs and I had, unknowingly, walked by it!
We catch and release all snakes, squirrels. mice, etc. to a remote spot.
As I told Susu:
Catch + Release = Good Karma

Hey my sweet Labra-friends...it is so hot here Mom and Dad are going to flip a coin to see who 'gets' to go out for the mail. MOL
We heard it broke a 59 yo record and even though Mom is older than dirt she says doesn't remember it being that hot 59 years ago.
She also said it is so hot she is no longer 'glowing' she is 'sweating'!
Hugs Madi and her hot Mama
It's really hot here too and Holly goes out on very brief trips to the bathroom!! Love the street sign!!! We ran into a bunch of rattlesnakes last week in the country but left them undisturbed as we quickly and quietly moved the other way! Lots of love, Debbie & Holly
BOL!! Trees calling dogs!! At least your sense of humor hasn't melted!!

Yikes, hope that copperhead is far, far away.
We know the feeling of that heat. We have even had to forego our walks, it is just too oppressive of a heat. Potty breaks and a small amount of yard time, that's it. Hopefully a break soon.
Have a good weekend.

we have a copperhead living alongside our house and deck. the dogs don't want to touch him (from past bad experience). i've tried moth balls to drive him away but he just moves a bit...
stay as cool as possible!
Jack and Jill go out, do their thing, and come right back in! Nothing quite like laying around in the A/C!
Oh dear! Glad that snakie didn't get ya! Hot here too, but the house is grand! Puppy Kisses, Miss Mindy
Hi Y'all,
It's so hot here in the low country that most of our snakes are hanging out underwater with just the head showing.
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
BaaaWaaaah that was a funny joke about the TREES WANTING us to WATER them!!!
You be careful... those CHOPPERheaded Snakes are Sneaky and DANGEROUS.
Yikes!! It is hot here too but we don't gots any skeery snakes. Stay cool my furiends!
Woofs and Licks,
Maggie Mae
Teehee. It's only 85 here, but we don't have central air conditioning - just one little air conditioner in the bedroom, so 85 is hot for us! I had a doggie class today, and we spent 30 minutes outside before we all drank tons of water, and the senior member of our class decided he'd had enough, and went inside the store to sleep on the cool floor! Stay cool!

Oh My goodness, My Vickie is laughing so hard about the trees calling the dogs.
She is gonna tell all her doggy friends that one.
I am so sorry all of you are having such hot weather. Ours is kinda hot but not as bad as it is for all of you in the east and south.
We'll send you some cool thoughts.
Bert
Yikes! I would have run screamin like the dickens!
It's terrible here. Day after day after day of 100 and above. I said I wouldn't complain after the winter we had, but here I go whining anyway. :) Stay cool!
Whew! I wouldn't like that heat.My humans take me down to the beach for swimmies to cool me off.

Now that's hot! Great photography of Bud's drool! I have already commented on snake. Yikes!! D must be very vigilant! Stay cool!
EEEEE! SNAKE! It is way too hot here too. Pea gets the super hot puffy face curly tongue. Looks like Buddy is the same way. Just potty runs and then back inside for sure.
Slobbers,
mango
Now THAT is hot! BOL
Ack! Snakes! We're not big fans - okay, MOM's not a big fan. We just run the other way :)
The Road Dogs
Snakes?!!! I don't think I like to see anyone of them at all!
Wow that was scary! the heat AND the copperhead! I did a catch and release for Good Karma yesterday with a MOTH of all creatures. It looked like it had drowned in a cup of water which was in my kitchen sink. I fished it out, laid it on a tissue where it lay still for over an hour. I really thought it was dead when I checked on it before leaving for work. However, it moved! So I relocated Mr. or Ms. Moth to the deck and off he/she went! Good Karma! Stay cool friends!!!
Buddy you do look hot, that heat is no good, we wish we could swap a little of our cool. A snake yuk we do not see any here.
Licks Bobby
