Surround yourself with positive people,
energy, and situations;
always avoid negativity.

Life is too short to wake up with regrets.
So, love the people who treat you right.

Forgive, and then forget about the ones who don't.

I'm Juz Sayin'

If ignorance is bliss,

I'm the happiest puppy you'll ever meet.

(Rama attempted to correct my "evil" eye, but she only made matters worse.
 Sheesh, now I'm glowing!)

Our good friend, Ms. V from North Dakota, is visiting in Florida and complaining about the hot weather in the Sunshine State.
This should make her feel more at home:

Hmmm, I wonder why
those cars are parked in front of a building on such a cold night in Fairbanks?
You guessed it!

Monday's Mosaic Monday ~Banff, AB

Hubby and I have spent Christmas in some very special places.
In 1997 we flew from Atlanta to Great Falls, Montana and then drove to Banff, Alberta.
Banff is beautiful anytime of year, but the snow made everything magical, especially for this Southern girl.

Sunday is for Family

Grandpa and Great Aunt Edith
Savannah, GA
~1967

My grandfather's sister, Edith, was a hoarder.
Of course 50 years ago we just referred to her as "messy."
I loved going to Aunt Edith's house.
She allowed dirty dogs in the house, shoes on the furniture, and we were always finding lost treasures under the piles of magazines and newspapers.

Aunt Edith was one of the happiest people I've ever known.
She loved people, animals, and growing beautiful flowers.
Camellias were her specialty.

I know another special lady who lives in Florida and grows beautiful flowers, including camellias.
Go visit Ms. Fern and tell her Kit sent you!
Thanks!

Sassy Says

I just want to celebrate another day of livin',
I just want to celebrate another day of life.

Rare Earth is an American rock band affiliated with Motown's Rare Earth record label (which was named after the band), who prospered in 1970-1972. Although not the first white band signed to Motown, Rare Earth was the first big hit-making act signed by Motown that consisted only of white members. (wikipedia)

Turn up the volume, get out of your chair, and shake your boo-tay!

Celebrate the day!
Celebrate the weekend!
Celebrate Life!

Welcome Home, DogDaze Daddy

As some of you know, DogDaze Daddy has been MIA for the past 3 weeks.

He has been star-gazing in New Mexico,

where the night skies are dark and starry.

Can you find Orion above the RV? Pretty cool, huh?

This wasn't the first time D has taken this trip, but it was the first time he went without Sassy. As a matter of fact, this was the first time he and Sassy had ever been apart.

She did better than I had expected, but she and the boys were pitiful at times, missing D,  and not understanding why he wasn't home, with us!

Hearing D's voice on the phone seemed to help.
I only wished I could explain to them that he would return.

Hubby arrived home safely yesterday, just in time for Zack's 9th Gotcha' Day and our 16th wedding anniversary, both of which are this Sunday.

Although our special day isn't until Sunday, in light of the fact that Hubby has been away for 3 weeks, I say,

 "Let the celebration begin!"

All in favor, say, "Aye!"

 "Aye!"

We're taking a break from blogging until after Thanksgiving.

We have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving season...
(including our wonderful blogging family.)

Welcome Home, Honey

Hey Buddy, we've got a riddle for you!

Cool!

If April showers bring May flowers,
what do May flowers bring?

Gee, that's a hard one.
I dunno, what do May flowers bring?

New Poo, Just for You

Buddy found some new poo on the driveway, just a couple of yards from the seedy poo discovered earlier this week.

Yep, it smells like poo to me...

This deposit contained animal hair, grass, pine needles, and

a lone kernel of corn.

As always, your poo comments are appreciated.

Mmmmmmm, poooooooo.......

Sassy Says

Our house is a very, very fine house.
With three dogs* in the yard,
Life used to be so hard,
Now everything is easy
'Cause of you...

(*two cats)

This week's melodic, blast from the past comes from my all-time favorite album.

Déjà Vu is the first album by the rock band Crosby, Stills, Nash &; Young, and the second by the trio configuration of Crosby, Stills, and Nash. It was released in March of 1970 by Atlantic Records.
It topped the pop album chart for one week and generated three Top 40 singles: "Teach Your Children," "Our House," and "Woodstock." (wikipedia)

The After Bath

Hey Y'all,
Do you notice anything different about us today?

Look closely.

Yes, I heard someone out there say it...

We're NEKKID!

There's only one reason we take off our clothes...

BATH TIME!

Every puppy knows the best thing about bath time is
