Apache Creek Valley, NM

We took a detour and spent a couple of days in the area Hubby goes star-gazing.
The Apache Creek Valley is beautiful this time of year with yellow cottonwoods lining the creek. We had our last campfire and cookout of the trip while listening to bugling elks.

This has been a wonderful trip, but we are anxious to get home!

Happy Trails,

Be careful on your trip home!

You'll be home soon, right? What an adventure you went on. I can understand why you're getting tired and longing for home after all of that fun.

I mis-read your title and thought you were in Minnesota. I was wondering how you got from AZ to MN in one day!

I'm glad you got to go star gazing. It is truly amazing out here where there are no city lights to mess up the stars!

Hi Kit and Crew,
Looks like Sassy, Buddy and Zack found something good to smell.
Beautiful trees...so different from what we are used to here in the south. The sun finally found its way back to NC....
Safe travels,
Hugs HiC

Wouldn't that be neat if you had bought something from me when you were young. Our wagon was the one next to the Main St. entrance on the beach. Just south of the pier.
Do you remmber the tall man with the bull that people had their picture taken with?? Our wagon was right next to that.
LOve ya lots, Fern

No matter where we go or how much fun we have or who we see, there's just something in our souls that needs to be home. Have a safe trip. It's been fun following you along though.
