Didja Seeit?

Female Ruby-throated Hummingbird
(Photo from 2010)

It was only there for a split second, but Rama caught a glimpse of the first hummingbird of the season.

She squealed so loudly we thought Dad had pinched her.

What kind of hummers do you see in your area?

You might enjoy watching these big birdies and their babies.
(sorry about the ad)

The Raptor Resource Project brings you the Decorah Eagles from atop their tree at the fish hatchery in Decorah, Iowa.

The live video feed is streamed online 24/7. At night an infrared light provides night vision to viewers through the cam. Infrared light is not visible to eagles, they do not see it or know it is there.

Happy Viewing and Happy Weekend!

No hummers in our yard yet, but we expect them soon. They move so fast, we haven't ever been able to ID them, much less smell them!

I was outside yesterday with Hu-mom right before dinner when it was warm and there were some carpenter bees buzzing around. Yikes, I tried to catch them with my mouth, but they are just too quick.

Drools and licks,

Mom says every year she's going to get a hummingbird feeder! We will make her this year! We've seen them around so we know they're there.

We love hummingbirds, and your photo is lovely! Good job catching one!

We see lots of cardinals, blue jays, and hawks flying around, plus lots of other little birdies. Don't you just love waking up to the sounds of chirping? :->

Thank you for posting the live feed of the eagles. They are so beautiful, and it is so cool to watch them.

Great photo catch for Rama - we don't see any hummers here, but we have lots and lots of fat robins:)

We have been watching those eagles too - we saw the three of them being fed tonight. So cool to watch.

Kit please try Oil of Oregano brand name Nature's Answer. You can get it on line at the Vitamin Shop or if there is one around your travels or at a health foods store. It will take care of that pollen for you . You will
feel it after the first 4 drops, really!!
Ruby throat-ed Hummers are what we get too and we have had ours for a week.

Incredible photography! No hummers yet. Mamma is not sure she wants to attract them with the cats from next door. Love the live feed of eagles!
