Life goes on-brah!

Buddy has been the best patient, post-op, TPLO surgery.
He seems to appreciate everything we do for him.
He enjoys the ice compresses and massages, and he only has to wear the cone when I'm asleep or in another room, neither which have occurred much this week.

Unfortunately, as he continues to improve and feel better, it is harder to keep him under control for potty breaks, and moving about the house, safely.
We return to orthopedic vet Tuesday. May 31.

Sorry I haven't had much time to visit blogs, I know you all understand!

Great news that he is feeling better. Worrying about him feeling frisky is a good thing to have on your mind. Wonderful post.

Guess it's been awhile since I stopped in at your blog. Didn't know about the surgery. My heart goes out to you. Hoping for the best. I know from experience these things take a lot of time and patience. But where would we be without our Labs?

Dag gone blogger must have lost our comment. Mom is 99.99999% sure she comment. Anyway please whisper to Buddy that I think he has very muscular fine looking legs and he might want to consider having all four!! MOL Madi

Mom and I are so thrilled to hear you are doing well. You have tow of the best honorary vet techs in the world looking after you and 2 devoted siblings.

So glad that Buddy is fixed and the healing has begun!

Yay buddy! So glad he is still healing well, it does get harder to keep them calm when they are feeling better which was pretty quick with Moose. I will never forget Moose's surgeon telling me that "Moose is not a willing participant in his own recovery" Yeah... that sums it up! And also explains why I understand that you are rarely asleep or out of the room!
Glad he is a good sport about it all. Moose was soooo good until right at the very end and I was so grateful for that! Sometimes having a big lazy mellow dog is the best! That last pic of Buddy could easily have been a pic of Moose too- SO cute! Hang in there!
