Thank You, Thank You,
Thank You
for all the healing thoughts.

I know I look pretty banged up, but I'm feeling much better, thanks to Dr. Noone and the great staff at VRSP.
They sewed my muscle back together, extra strong this time, so a big boy like me can't pull it out just by standing up or going potty.

Looks like it's going to be two more weeks of everyone waiting on me hand and foot (make that paw and paw), so I might as well make the most of it.

Oh yeah, that's the spot!

We're doing our best to help Bubba feel better, mainly by leaving him alone.
He is trying to sound brave for y'all, but believe us when we say,
there have been some pretty pitiful sounds coming from the dog room.

This just breaks Rama's heart....

We are pulling for you Buddy. How can you stay still like that for so long is the big question?

I would be trying to run off and I would probably hurt it again.

Lots of attention is the magic cure for all ailments.

So sorry that Buddy is having such a tough time. I know its hard to be a dog nurse, but he would do it for you, wouldn't he???

We send our most best wishes and prays to get Buddy back up on his feets.

Cheers and hugs,

Stella and Jo

It just breaks my heart too, and even got some sympathy from those in the room at the time I played the video! When our foster dogs recovered from orthopedic surgery it always was just as hard on me as for them but I tried to think ahead and know it was going to be okay....eventually!!

Oh that breaks my heart to hear a stoic little labradog crying. The time must just drag by for you. I hope he is able to get some rest. Guess being doped up might not be a bad thing right now. I sure hope the new stitches hold him together. Two weeks are an eternity when your dog is in pain.

My poor Buddy! In the first pic, he is clearly out of it! I know he is getting excellent care...just like his own ICU! How nice that he can have the oldies! Sassy and Zack want to leave him alone so he can heal, but...they also don't want to catch it! Bless you all. Praying for healing.

OH! That IS heartbreaking!! Poor, poor Buddy!! :( Here's hoping the pain meds are strong, he's patient and able to stay quiet and he heals super fast!! Lots of positive thoughts coming his way!!

Jen and the Black Dog Crew (who was WAY too chicken to attempt an ACL surgey on the VERY active, it would have killed her to stay quiet for that long Sophie).

Poor, poor Buddy. Take it easy, pal and in just a short while, you will be doing so much better. This is all very hard on your humans too. You have a great back scratcher there. We will keep crossing our paws and thinking good thoughts for you to be fully well soon. Hugs to you and your family.

Oh Buddy that is such a pitiful sounding video. Bless your sweet little Lab heart and your peeps. We know they wish they could take your pain on themselves. Mom and I wish we could do something to make the pain go away....but we are hoping each day it gets less and less.
