Wow whee. They were beautiful. Thanks for sharing. We have little blue wrens visit us, they are cute too. They just flit around on the ground pecking and such. Have a great day. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
OH MY STARS....MS K MY MOM WOULD NEED CPR IF SHE SAW THAT MANY HUMMERS AT ONE TIME. Mom said you must be serving Hummernip at those feeders. The most we've ever seen is 3 at a time....thank you for the most amazing video. What do my puppies do when all the hummers visit? Hugs to you all from your BFFF, Madi
We ALL Love Hummers on my hill. BUTT this year we didn't hardly have any..compared to other years. That really Concerns and saddens us. You Fur SURE did have a Flock of them.
Wow, Kit, did they use your footage for Nature's program on Hummingbirds?! (this Sunday evening on PBS!) Awesome, so many Ruby's all in one spot!! They were definitely fueling up for their long flight! Thanks for sharing yet another wonderful video!
Been feeding them everyday since March!!! Some have already left. I think there are at least 3 left. I do know they are getting ready to all go too. They are getting fat!!!!!!! xx, Tinker & Fern
Amazing video. Our hummers are constantly battling for position so no one eats much. You would think it would be in everyone's best interest to stop the conflict.
I taught primary school for 27 years, and loved every minute of it. I am now enjoying retirement on 30+ acres in the north Georgia mountains with my husband and Labrador Retrievers.
When we aren't hanging out in the woods, we enjoy traveling in our RV w/ the dogs. One of our favorite destinations is the Pacific Northwest, especially the Oregon and Washington coasts.
My parents are deceased, I am an only child and have no children; therefore, my husband and dogs are my family.
My blog and blogging friends have taken the place of my classroom and students.
You could say, I've gone from SCHOOL DAYS to DOG DAZE.

We saw about 8 million of them last week. Evidently Arizona has a lot of hummingbirds coming up from Mexico!

I just love hummers doing their dance! I had one checking me out yesterday while I was outside taking pictures - he was too fast for me!

It won't be long before they'll be gone - at least from our mountains.

Wow! That was just spectacular! Love the chirpy/buzzing sounds they make. Looks like they enjoy heartily what's in the feeders! xo
