Life is too short to wake up with regrets.

In September 2011, Moxie and nearly 100 search and rescue dogs were deployed to the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

Ten years later, only fifteen of these heroic canines survive.

Dutch photographer, Charlotte Dumas, succeeded in tracking down each of them, visiting and photographing the dogs at their homes, where they live with their handlers.

This beautiful tribute will soon be available from Amazon.

I saw that as well. It's strange to think that some of the dogs are 13 and 14 years old now.

I noticed several other books on the 9/11 search and rescue dogs. Amazing that some are still living heroes!

Looks like a wonderful book!

It is wonderful to see that these wonderful pups have been remembered by so many for their heroic work. We have read about them in many places this week.

In our opinion these pups and their handlers all deserve purple hearts..but we all know that a puppy will work endless just for a pat on the head.

I also saw that, it's humbling to look at those beautiful, soft kind faces knowing what they did, and how hard they worked, isn't it?
