The Color Change in the fall is sooooo exciting... butt once the leaves FALL.. it is so drab and sad.

Our leaves are in their peak this week, but the big fall is on and already we have leaves that need to be mulched up. Bumper year for acorns, too. Those are a mess. The last to turn are the Bradford pears. Nice to know they will be the first to leaf out next spring.
With the Momster's big arm ouchie, we aren't getting any nice walks, but we do have some crunchy leaves in our yard.
We suspect there was a lot more work to be done to get that timberwood!

We had more in the way of damp fogginess, which was good for Frou Frou - she hates it when the wind blows leaves at her!
Tom has taken down probably 50 trees on our 3 acres and we hardly miss them!!

Just discovered your blog from Ina in Alaska's blog. I wonder where in north GA you are - I went to school at Young Harris, and my parents retired near Helen, a little blip on the map called Sautee-Nacoochee. Funny that I found a "home town" blog by way of Alaska... :)
