SNOW!?!

It's been so long since we've seen any measurable snow, Mom posted this picture of our house (2001) to assure us that it can snow here.

It sure has been cold the past couple of days, but still no SNOW!!!
So Mom said she would make some SNOW!!!
YAY!!!

Glitter Photos

We know she meant well, but this isn't exactly what we had in mind.

Not Funny, Mom!

Zack has even been sleeping with his snow pillow and Mr. Snowman,
but still no SNOW!!!

To all our doggy blogging furiends up north:

PUH-LEAZE, SEND US SOME SNOW!!!!

To see some doggies enjoying their snow, check out our buddies at LAB TAILS.

Wrooo wrooo,

Brrrrr...it's chilly here. I covered my plants again last night to protect them. Snow? I don't want it, but since you do, I'll wish for you to get some.

Hugs!
Kat

(I thinking of your friend D and hoping she's doing okay.)

Everybody in your area is complaining about the cold! I'm not sure they'd be too happy you're hoping it will snow! But hey, if it's cold enough, why not have the pretty white stuff!!!

Your home looks so beautiful, like something on HGTV!

Thanks Mom!

That looks like a "home sweet home" photo. I coulda sent you some snow with a side order of ice last week. In fact I woulda given you all the ice you would like 'cuz I don't like it. Snow is cool-pun intended! But it's just really, really cold right today. All the wet stuff has disappeared and mom says it's gonna be a 50 degree weekend. I betcha some groundhogs are gonna sneak out. That's what I'm talkin' about!!

Too funny! And if your house looks this pretty in the snow, I can only imagine how pretty it must look when Spring brings buds and color to the landscape!

We are supposed to have snow next week, but I would gladly send it your way.

I think your life in retirement sounds perfect. I am happy for you and your husband that you have this wonderful time in your lives together.

Kit,

Thank you for your kind words. You are right, Nick is a cutie.

We never had children, so we became each other's babies.

And, yes please go give your husband another hug. Great husbands are blessings.

Love Melissa

Loved the pic of your house in the snow. Beautiful! But you can have the snow. You know we lose our minds in Savannah when it snows! We had temps in the teens for three days, but today it will go up to high 60s! Thank heaven! I know the pups would love the snow, though! SH
