Buddy's New Friend

Buddy discovered a turtle in the yard yesterday.
He was curious about this interesting creature.

When Buddy decided to take a lick, I decided it was time to put him in the house until Mr. Turtle had wandered off.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm keeping a secret from Buddy. The star-gazers are starting home from New Mexico today!
If I tell him, he'll just drive me crazy asking when they'll be here, so it's best to make it a surprise! And yes, I am very happy they are heading home.
Happy Trails,
Our Granny always told our Mom (when she was little girl a gazillion years ago) that if a turtle (terrapin) bit you it wouldn't let go until it thundered. Be careful Buddy!!
We are glad the star gazers will be home soon. Hope they have a safe trip.
That is such a cute picture of curious Buddy!! What must be going on in his canine mind?!
Raider always gave "Vincent Van Gogh", our box turtle, a wide berth in the yard,'cause turtles can bite!
A turtle! What fun! We've never met one in real life but think it would be rather cool to play with.
Lots of treats,
I know Buddy will be so excited to see his fam-pups! He will have so much to tell....and they will tell him exciting things, too! I know you can't wait! SH
I know you're excited and Buddy will be too. If he's anything like Miss Daisy, you won't have to tell him. She can tell when one of us is coming home. She waits by the window and is almost always right.
We have turtle visitors sometimes too and we keep Miss Daisy far away...we have the snapping kind.
Hugs!
