Snow in Dixie

We're still waiting for the snow tonight. I have the deck flood lights on so I can monitor the situation from the warmth of my bed.

Those of you who did experience the southern snowstorm today, remember your doggies aren't accustomed to the white stuff and might need some help with their normal routines and "business."

I had a few questions regarding the dogs' Santa hats on the header picture...It was very easy, by using: http://bighugelabs.com/captioner.php

After you upload photo, you don't have to add a caption, just scroll to the bottom of page and choose Santa hats, then click and drag to photo.

Happy Trails,

Thank you for sharing all the info (and the cartoon!)
I remember when I was growing up we would bring our outside dog inside when it actually snowed - the only time he got to stay indoors!

I did not get any snow today either but it was very cold though, just the way I like it! I hope you doggies (and me!) get some snow soon!

I hope that dog stuck to the fire hydrant is ok. That does not look fun.

Thanks for the information and the link. We are getting some snow and sleet here...so far just it's just pretty and not on the streets yet. Holly isn't used to it and had to pace back and forth across the porch and ponder the situation before going out for her morning business!

Ouchie on that hydrant cartoon. Thanks for the info on the hats.

We are expecting a little snow here tomorrow night and more on Tuesday. But the past has taught us not to get too excited until it happens.

Hope you get some snow.

Look at those beautiful labbies. My mom was almost ready to go to Georgia in early January, but just had to cancel. Her nephew lives near Atlanta. Is that Northern Georgia near where you guys are?

Did you get my comment? It usually says it is waiting moderation but I don't see that today. Blogger has been really weird with comments lately.
