Chloe the (not so much) Beach Dog

There was a time, not too long ago, when there were as many dogs as people on Mexico Beach, FL. We've been here 4 days and have only seen one dog.

This is Chloe, the 9 year old Beagle from Michigan.
Chloe is staying in the condo next to us. Her mom says Chloe used to love playing in the sand and water, but is now content spending her days lazing on the deck.

I know 3 wild and crazy Labradors who would be cracker dogs if they were here!
 Happy Trails,

I would be happy to find any dog friendly beach. I'm surprised it's not mobbed!

And think how "entertaining" vacation would be with three cracker labradogs!

Yes, you should feel very guilty for leaving them at home. Just for that, you won't have any puppies to sleep in your bed and keep you warm! :)

I hope it's nice there today - we have a cool front and a lot of wind that has settled over the Blue Ridge today.

The beach at MY lake (Burr Oak) has a section that is restricted to JUST TWO LEGGERS. I love that. They have to stay waaaay down THERE and I get a HUGE section that I can have my dad beach my pontoon boat on. Then it's ZOOMIE CITY for Frankie!!! Love that place!!!!

I know that there is nothing as wonderful as running full speed on the sandy beach. When we move to the Washington coast very soon, I hope to do it alot!!! When we went there not long ago, we were the only ones on the beach....well, execpt for a large flock of seagulls. When I got close to them they got REAL loud!! But they had better get used to me cause I will be there alot! Hugs and wags, Mistaya

We have never been to a beach, but from all the fun we see our blogger furiends having there, we think we might like it too. Maybe next year you can bring your three and we'll see if Mom will take us too.

Is it because they don't allow dogs, or is no one bringing their dogs?
