Daffodils are blooming,
Periwinkle's blue...
Zack and Sas ride in the truck.
Why can't I ride, too?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Riding in the back of the truck is not in Bud's future, until he is fully recovered from torn ACL. He has resumed hopping happily at dinner time, which indicates he is feeling better.
BTW, Zack and Sas don't ride in the back of the truck on public roads, only on our property. It scares me to death to see trucks barreling down the highway with a dog in the back.
Happy Weekend!
Buddy, Spring must be blooming in Georgia!
Won't be long before it's "pontoon time" and you will have lots of fun in the lake!
I hope your ACL will heal really soon!
hey Bud,
Great poem! I am so furry happy to read you are getting better, and hopping for dinner! Don't be sad about the truck, your time will come. Just keep focusing on healing your ACL and before you know it, you will be in the back of the truck too!
p.s. beautiful flower photos!
I was in the grocery store today and they announced that a dog had gotten out of the back of a truck and was running around the parking lot. Scared me to pieces!
Jack was safely at home.
Oh goodness, I hope that ACL is quickly healed and a thing of the past!! Sophie especially sends her healing thoughts- she knows all about ACLs and the pain they can be to get them to heal!!!
So glad someone has signs of spring!! We still have between 3-4feet of snow!!! (with more on the way, I hear!) :)
So talented, Buddy! Love the pics! Never had any doubt about your pups not riding in backs of trucks on public roads! Looks like everyone had a good day!
Beautiful poem, Buddy!!!
So sorry that you can't join Zack and Sas riding in the back of the truck yet!
So glad to hear Buddy is feeling better! No don't think a truck ride is for him right now, but he can sit there and make beautiful poetry! :-)
Oh a big amen to that! I've seen too many of those dogs hanging out the side of pickups on the freeways around Dallas. One in particular - a HUGE Rottweiler rode the same commute as I did in the back of a pickup. One day he was squashed in the middle of the freeway... Apparently fell out when the driver had to brake or swerve or...
That's a lovely poem. Hope you are back in action soon.
Your pal, Pip
I'm glad to know that Buddy is feeling better. He'll be "fit as a fiddle" soon.
Hi Ms K....we are so glad to see a post full of flowers, puppies and poems. Spring is popping up everywhere. Mom loves periwinkles!!
Mom said she cringes every time she sees a sweet puppy in a truck bed driven by a stoopid 2 legger.
WE MOL'd at the poem you left on our blog. I think I'll have to go check all the chairs...maybe my head rolled off in one of them.
Thanks for the smiles
Hugs Madi and Mom
Woo - we have been wondering how Buddy is doing - thanks for the pupdate - hope things continue to improve.
pee s -- mama hates hates hates when she sees doggies ridin' in the back of pickups on the highway. it makes her so full of the nervosity!
Hi Girlfriend and Pups,
So sooo good to see you here. I really MISS you!
Most of your pictures will not load in 15 or 20 minutes and I don't have the time to just let it load. Maybe later. I can't stand seeing dogs in the back of a pick up either!! I have, at times pulled over a truck and fussed at them about putting their precious dog at risk!!!
It brings me to tears!!!
Love you girl and love you Zack, Buddy and Sissy, Fern
Aww, what a wonderful poem!
I'm glad Buddy is on the mend and we hope it continues!
I don't like dogs in the back of a truck either, or hanging out a car window--don't they know that bugs or something can fly up their nose or get in their eyes??
