Buddy has appeared a bit "down dumps" the past few days. He walks up to the empty dog lot several times a day, but never goes in. I'd love to get inside his head and know what he's thinking, other than "FOOD"! I wish I could explain where the others have gone and that they will return to us.
In an attempt to cheer him, I took out the doggie pool. Actually it's the only pool. I am pleased to announce that Buddy did not piddle in the pool this year! Yay Buddy, you're growing up!

Good job in the pool. My problem is not so much going potty in the pool as it is just getting in. Too much like a bath to me.

What fun in the pool! I KNOW pups miss their buds and grieve. They, like we, have to come to a new normal. Just about the time Buddy gets used to being the only puppy, Sassy and Zack will be back! I can't wait to hear how they all pick up their places! SH

I feel bad for Buddy, he misses his playmates. One day they are there and things are normal and then they are gone.....it has to be a shock to him and he is probably somewhat depressed. I know that you are trying to help him through his depression and I am sure he loves you more now than ever. awww... I have looked evrywhere for one of those hard pools for Hank....all they have are the blow up pools....my son suggested a heavy plastic sand box...hmmmm?
