Sunday is for Family

Grandma and Brunie
(my childhood dog)
~1973~
Savannah, GA

Grandma appears to be frowning, but she really loved Brunie.

We'll be at the lake for a few days. It's deserted since all the kids are back in school. This is probably my favorite time of year to be retired. I miss many things about teaching, but the first few weeks of first grade is not one of them.

Happy Trails,

hey,

I think your grandma looks like she is smiling! And Brunie sure is a cutie! And is sitting so nicely on the chair next to your grandma! Great picture!

I like your idea of "Sunday is for Family." That is how I was raised. Nice!

Good, good Pic of Grandma and Brunie! Looks just like both of them! Great pic of your "beloved four," too! Enjoy the lake! How in the world will I manage without your posts? Maybe I will need the withdrawal schedule more than you! When is the big trip? SH

What a great memory! When my boys were young, Sunday was always family day here too. Now that they're older, things have changed a little bit! I miss those days....

Hey there, Ms-K
that is a really beautiful pic of your granny and your childhood dog. Those kind of memories are precious because they didn't have digital cameras!
Yep, I agree with you...first grade teachers should be commended...that first day...EISH!
Have a happy week.
