Don't you love to get happy mail?
Not junk mail or bills; but brightly colored envelopes, cards and packages that make you smile.
from far-away places such as Alaska (thanks, Ina and Pups), Ireland (thanks, Susan), and South Africa (thanks, MaxMom).
Pretty cool, huh?
There were funny cards, sweet cards, handpainted cards,
comforting cards,
There were personalized cards...
(thanks, Madi and Mom)
Handmade cards and gifts...
(thanks, Kath for the beautiful hand-beaded necklace)
This was my favorite funny card, from my former college roommate, who just returned from touring Ireland.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to send me a smile!
It is greatly appreciated!
It doesn't cost much or take much time to spread some happiness!

That is what I would call an Avalanche of Greetings!! Well, Kit, I am not surprised, you have friends all over the world and we all care about you!!! Thanks for sharing views of the many cards and gifts. Too bad we all don't live closer, can you imagine the huge group walk we would have with our pups???.....So glad you are on the mend!! We love you!! xoxox
Yesh, our momma is a fan of good, old fashioned, REAL mail not just the junk mail we get now. It's so much fun to open something from someone that cares about us. You have been blessed.
What a lovely post!!!!!
We really enjoyed reading and seeing all those happy mails!!!
Thank you for sharing them!
And thank you for your warm comment on our blog!
YAY! Tuna for every puppy and kitty!!
What a cute lovely friend you are!!
THANK YOU!
You are getting real prizes and treasures there. Snail mail is almost extinct, isn't it? Practically the total domain of bills due and advertisement. You mean people actually chose to send you real mail? Mail with postage just because they like you? You are blessed. I also think you should hang onto that mail, it will be valuable sometime in the near future, probably worth space in a museum!
Seriously, this is truly "Happy Mail" !
i agree, nothing better than a handwritten note! you did get a lot of cards!!
hugs to the hounds!
xoxo
i see you found my "other blog"...:)
For a sweet lady, you deserve the best!!
Hugs, Kath
What an absolutely wonderful and beautifully photographed post!! What a variety from so many locations! I was thrilled to see my card and Mamma's card in the birthday pics! There is something about a handwritten, snail-mailed missive that warms the heart like email never can! Thanks for the reminder! SH
Ha! I have my very own PO box so that momma won't interfere with my private Mango mail. I am always so happy to see it stuffed with packages and envelopes just for ME.
Slobbers,
Mango
How sweet of them!
You are very welcomed Ms. K you are so very, very deserving of each and every one of those pieces of Happy Mail!!! You make each of us smile every day too.
Madi and Mom
What wonderful friends you have - spreading sunshine to you and then you pass it on to us!! Thanks for sharing.
Wow! You are popular!! ans well Loved by all :)
All that would raise anyones spirits! Pretty nifty!
Wow... you are the only pawson who gets more mail than I do. hehehehe
I always feel good and am happy whenever I receive a snail mail. It sounds old fashion but I like to see the envelope with stamps on :)
You're so lucky that you received so many mails!
I love the last card, although I personally hate morphine!
I'm so glad that people lifted your spirits and that you're feeling better!
It is so nice to get USPS mail. Seems like everyone just emails (and that is not bad)....but sometimes it is just nice to have something to hold....
Wow!! You are really blessed to get so much great mail like that!! I love real mail but it doesn't seem to come here much anymore. My mailbox is stuffed with junk mail (where do they get my name and address) and bills of course. I have often thought of taking the mailbox down!! Lots of love, Debbie and Holly
You are right, getting cards and letters via "snail mail" is the best and always makes my day too!! THANKS for reminding me that I should send a few!! :-))
Initially, my answer to your question was going to be "no" but as I read more, you made a good case for snail mail. A very belated Happy Birthday from me and my family and... what can I say, mommy is crazy over your daddy and me photo.
xoxoxo
