Dad has been on the Squirrel Warpath again!
Squirrels are pretty easy to catch if you have the right trap.
Squirrels get p.o.'d when caught and say some pretty ugly words.
Rama tries to keep the nasty-mouthed varmints as comfortable as possible until Dad and Sas transport them to their new (undisclosed) home.
(Notice the squirrel enjoying a fan and some fresh peach.)
"Dad, can we stop by Dairy Queen on the way home?"

That squirrel certainly doesn't look happy....but it seems like it would be very entertaining to the Lab pack! :)
Around here we have a bunch of those guys, but it's always cool to catch a glimpse of a black one. I'd never seen a black squirrel til I moved here, it's just like the one you caught but it's fur is black instead of gray! They're pretty cool, I don't know if you have them down south. The sad thing is they seem to be a little dumber than the grays...I see them hit on the road pretty often :(

And here I am feeding squirrels and birds at the same time! The squirrels will not leave the bird seed alone even though they have their own corn! But Mamma likes them all, so.....

Morning Ms K....I see it is shaping up to be a Squirrely Saturday. MOL They squirrels in your yard are very fortunate to have such great accommodations during their captivity. I bet the high tail it right back to your mountain as fast as they can.
Dad has a friend who traps them then releases them on the property where he used to work. HA

Good thing we don't have many squirels here, or I would be relocating them also. The video was so awesome! Sure made me smile wide!
Great job with the squirrel catch and release - nice of you to set a fan on him while he dines on peach - I think if I were a squirrel, I might take a chance on landing at your place heheh! I hadn't seen this vid - made my HEART sing out loud - fabulous! Thanks for republishing!

You are right squirrels are easy to catch--We've had to catch 2 that were getting into our office where I work--We were told they were put into the witness protection program and were given new identities and a new home...
I really love the video!!! I have to admit to almost not watching the whole thing, and was so glad that I did, because that ending was just the best!!! THANKS for giving me a needed "feel good moment" for my day--The fresh Krispy Kremes from yesterday have worn off! :-)

I am glad you take the squirrels to another place. Well I am now trying to persaude John to do a dance and stand on his hands every time he gets a foster dog a home.

Good work with the squirrels - luckily we don't have too many of those pests in our immediate neighborhood.
