An Award

Dog Daze is proud to accept The Superior Scribbler Award from our friends at Stella's World.

I did a little research and discovered that this special award has been circulating since October 2008. You can read about the origin of this unique award here.

Of course, as with every Blog Award, there are a few rules.

They are:
1. Each Superior Scribbler must in turn pass The Award on to 5 most-deserving Bloggie Friends.

2.Each Superior Scribbler must link to the author & the name of the blog from whom he/she has received The Award.

3.Each Superior Scribbler must display The Award on his/her blog, and link to This Post, which explains The Award.

4.Each Blogger who wins The Superior Scribbler Award must visit this post and add his/her name to the Mr. Linky List. That way, we'll be able to keep up-to-date on everyone who receives This Prestigious Honor!

5.Each Superior Scribbler must post these rules on his/her blog.

Since the Scholastic Scribbler Award has been around for quite a while, many of you have probably received it already, but I would like to pass it on to the following 6 (rules are made to be broken) wonderful blogs:

Daily Dose of Jack- TG, I know you don't do awards, but I have to include you in my list. Your blog makes my day, everyday!

Dog Talk- Yes, I'm a sucker for black Labs, and Moose's mom has such a delightful way of sharing his goofy, lovable antics.

Chit Chat Room-Not only does ~K have a houseful of her own pups, she's also a vet tech and shares the most amazing stories of her patients.

Posted from Home-My Canadian friend, Deb, shares her world of creativity, beauty in the simple things, family, and now Ernie, her beautiful, rescued black Lab.

Potpourri from NC-A fun look at the world through the eyes of any "only cat," who is a self-proclaimed Diva.

Khyra's Khorner-Most of you doggie bloggers are familiar with Khyra and the wonderful work her mom does helping transport lucky pups to their new fur-ever homes. She is a special lady, who I am pleased to call "my friend."

The results of my 2010 survey show that an equal number of people will say "two thousand ten" and "twenty ten." (Except TG, who will continue to say 2009 for a while-chuckle!)

Happy Trails,

Congrats on your award! And Thank you so much for chosing us!! It is always hard to find people who have not gotten it before but I will try! This is actually the first time I have seen this one though so maybe it is new to the crowd I follow.
Anywho, thanks!

Bird Feeders and baffles...
yes the baffles on our feeders work beautifully. Often we can tell when there is a new squirrel on the block (say from the Mtns. of GA). He'll climb the pole to the top of the cylinder baffle then the baffle will start banging around...poor little thing is beating his head while trying to get out of the black hole.

Congrats on that great award - we will have to visit some of your awardees as we don't know all of them.

The trick with the 2010 dilemma will be getting the Momster to write it on her checks, usually takes a while for her to stop writing 2009.

Our temperture is 34 and dropping pretty fast now too. It has dropped about 8 degrees in the last hour. We will lose our tomatos for sure. We have the peppers in the patio. Can't bring in the tomatoes.
I feed 26 coons tonight. They wanted extra food tonight because they knew it was going to be cold.
