Monday's Memory

I'm adding a new weekly blog post, called Monday's Memory. I hope this will encourage (force) me to get my old photos and videos scanned, saved, edited, and organized.

This week's memory is from our first cross-country trip in 2005. We were camping at El Vado Lake State Park in New Mexico.
Zack and Sassy (who was 5 months old) were having a great time running on the beach when Sassy discovered the lake. She's been a water dog ever since!!!
Sorry, there is no audio or music. That's also on my list of things to learn this year!

Happy Trails,

Oh my word Sassy is a surfer girl!!!
She LOVES it. Did Zack ever get in or was he just content to egg her on?
FABULOUS pictures of two beautiful pups enjoying themselves,

What a great idea. We have boxes of old photographs we need to scan, but never a motivation to get it done.

It looks like Sassy 'knew' how to swim from the beginning. Our former puppy, R, started out swimming terribly. He'd lift his front paws out of the water and smash them down, creating incredible splashes and waves but not moving forward much.

Don't worry - he figured it out by his third swim.

Happy memories!

That sounds like a great idea!!! Just to let you know--- think we have failed as foster parents. We got Chica on 12/30 and that same night we decided we couldn't let her go. We will be getting another foster before too long.
Hope you all have a great New Year and good health & happiness!!

What program are you using to make your movies?

I like the older iMovieHD on my Mac just to make quick videos to put online.

Hi Kit. I love it!!! I will try to learn along with you!!! There are photos that I would like to save for my G-daughter who is a dog lover big time!! She can not have a dog because Both her parents are allergic. Of course so are we but the dogs are well worth it.
Hugs to the pups, Bambi, Happy & Fern

Oh that is the happiest thing I have seen so far this year. How special to see how those 2 doggies play with each other around that water. Thanks

I love watching these videos. Some of us come alive when faced with a body of water. This was fun! Keep digging :) Maybe you'll set the good example for many of us

Sassy, could you possibly have any more fun? What a great video! And Zack, you looked like you enjoyed yourself too! Substitute snow for that water and I am in the same heaven as you!

That looks so fun! I'm gonna have to try the water one of these days. It still makes me nervous just thinking about it, but your video makes it look so fun!
