Buddy says "Thanks" for the nice card and kind words of encouragement.
We had never heard of prolotherapy, but are willing to give it a try in an attempt to avoid surgery.
The vet's office was closed today due to icy roads, so we will reschedule Buddy's 2nd treatment. I can't say that I have seen any improvement this week, although he was happy while taking the pain meds. He wasn't happy about missing the snow fun!
And speaking of snow....

I thought about you when i saw all the snow in your direction and wondered if you'd gotten any. We totally dodged the snow-bullet yesterday, but most of Virginia wasn't quite so lucky!
Sorry about your friends not doing well--I have also been thinking of Buddy and will hope that the 2nd round of treatment is a bit more effective! All paws crossed and healing thoughts for everyone!

Such a nice little movie! We had snow on Christmas Day and yesterday too. Sorry Buddy wasn't able to enjoy it too, but we will have more snow. I hope the prolotherapy will do the trick, it is probably going to take time and lots of love, but I am sending good thought to you that it will work and no surgery will be necessary.

Big ole four legged kids playing in the snow! I could handle a snow like that. It sure beats the 13 inches and blizzard we got last year at Christmas! Hope Buddy gets well soon. Enjoy your snow, for our mild weather is heading your way by the end of the week.

we need some snow too.
i, Bailey, had an ACL injury and had to have surgery. just as soon as it healed, the other one went and i had to have a second surgery. the good news is that now i am SUPER SCHNOODLE, and i'm as good as new. my poodle friend, Auggie, had the same thing - 2 torn ACLs, 2 surgeries, now she's fine. (my human had to get another mortgage on her house to pay for it though!) let's hope that Buddy will get better on his own.

Haven't stopped keepin' paws crossed for Buddy. Hopefully he will get some snowtime before winter ends.
