Love the term..."slunder." We don't get much of that down here! Your daffodils were pretty anyway! Mamma's azaleas and camellias are blooming, and the dogwoods are magnificent. My lorapetalum trees are in magnificent fuchsia! I hope there is not an unexpected cold snap to do them in! I'm with Buddy on the meaning of spring. Tomorrow it will be 78 and sunny. Can't wait! Yesterday was too cool and dreary. SH
March is still doing the lion roar in your area. We had a little "sugar snow" on Monday. It was just for effect, thankfully, there was no accumulation. I think (hope) we are done! xoxo
Crazy spring so far - first we had snow, then it turned so warm and 8 inches of snow disappeared lickety split. We love your daffodila - bring back lovely memories of Dakota.
Slunder, huh???? Haven't ever heard that combination... We had snow off and on also--but luckily no accumulation except on the roofs, the deck and empty lots.
We saw SNIRT when we went to Newfound Gap a couple of weeks ago... You know what that is, don't you???? Snow-Dirt.... Big piles of it!!! Hugs, Betsy
There certainly is some wild and wacky weather going on in the south this winter/spring! Good grief! Nuts - but those daffodils do look so pretty despite the weirdo stuff falling from the skies! Hugs xo Sammie
Buddy is one handsome boy in any season!! This winter during one of our snow storms we had thunder--It's really odd, but then so are 3 huge snow storms in Virginia! :-) Hope your week is going well!!
I taught primary school for 27 years, and loved every minute of it. I am now enjoying retirement on 30+ acres in the north Georgia mountains with my husband and Labrador Retrievers.
When we aren't hanging out in the woods, we enjoy traveling in our RV w/ the dogs. One of our favorite destinations is the Pacific Northwest, especially the Oregon and Washington coasts.
My parents are deceased, I am an only child and have no children; therefore, my husband and dogs are my family.
My blog and blogging friends have taken the place of my classroom and students.
You could say, I've gone from SCHOOL DAYS to DOG DAZE.

That is so eerie and wrong - I've only heard thunder one when it was snowing and I thought I had lost my marbles...
Oh, that's right, I did! :)
Lady sez: hubba hubba, Buddy is one good looking hunk-o-lab. Obviously, spring agrees with him!! Us too. Glad to see the flowers blooming.
Well, we don't have snow showers but I have Betty that eats all my flowers!

I love seeing the smiley faces of daffodils!! And Webster should recognize your new word.

Now if only you could get Buddy to sit amongst the daddodils! What a picture that would be! Party on Buddy!

Buddy is so darn handsome! I think Scout has a crush!!
If we don't like one weather pattern we can wait a few hours for another. "Slunder" might make it into the weather vocabulary.

It seems that everyone is getting daffy-dills. I wonder if they would grow out here. I don't think I've seen any!
I'm glad you heeded the wise words of Robin Williams about partying and you chased a squirrel. Party on!

Buddy, that is so strange!! Sleeting and thundering? That's enough to make you hide for awhile! Love, Debbie and Holly
Slunder in Georgia?
I'm with you -- let's party!
Spring is still looking a little white around here, too.
