I flew on a Cessna 182, (in the co-pilot seat), out to the Skwentna checkpoint today...all the dog teams were gone, but we saw several dropped dogs being transported by plane to Anchorage.

My favorite part of flying with the Bush pilots is having the pilot WEIGH YOU prior to flight. When our pilot from Talkeetna to the Base Camp at Denali weighed my sister and I, we immediately went on diets!

Why were the dogs dropped? I may have to talk to mom and dad about that....dropping dogs doesn't sound like a good thing to this little doxie! It is exciting to share this adventure with you and I hope you are truly enjoying yourself!
