Best Dogs

Although I was around hundreds of dogs while in Alaska, I missed my own dogs terribly. I phoned home often and several times Hubby would put the phone to their ears so I could say "Hello." This was more for me than the dogs, as I'm sure they had no idea why my voice was coming from that small device. One of the great things about dogs is that they are happy to see you no matter how long you're gone (5 minutes or 5 months).
Even though they could smell "stranger dogs" on my clothes, they were still thrilled for me to be back home with them. They didn't even ask if I brought them a souvenir. That's true, unconditional love.

Awwww! It's always nice to come home to your own dogs!
Glad to hear you had such a good time up here in Alaska! We are going to the Limited North American Championships this weekend, and will be waiting for the Open North American next.
Are you glad to be back in the warm weather?

I wondered when we would hear about your pups! I still believe they missed you! And thanks so much for their pics. I read where Lance Mackey is leading. So glad to see some news from the race. SH
