Mother and Daddy's Anniversary

My parents were married March 26, 1950 at Sacred Heart Church in Savannah, GA.

Their Honeymoon was spent on a train headed to Philadelphia,
Daddy's next post assignment.

Daddy passed away in 1980 and Mother has been gone 8 years.
As an only child, with no children, my parents were my family.

Happy Trails,

What beautiful pictures of your two sweethearts! I see that you favor your mother, how pretty! While our loved ones may die, their love for us lives forever. I truly believe that they know about our daily lives and love us still. I can tell that you miss them very much.

Awwww Kit! What sweet photos and I know looking at them brings you sadness, but they must also bring you joy just knowing how much they loved each other...and you.

I have been amazed looking at all the pics of your mom about how much you look like her. I never realized it when we were all together! They made a darling couple...pretty bride, handsome groom. I agree with Liz about our parents' love for us living forever. I know they would be so proud of you...especially knowing how many lives you are touching with this blog! It makes my day! And I learn something all the time! SH
