As the video shows, the weather didn't cooperate yesterday; therefore, the fun and games portion of Sassy's birthday was delayed. We had severe thunderstorm and tornado watches/ warnings most of the day.
Zack and Sassy were upset by the thunderstorms until the ice cream was served.
"Num, num...Thunder, what thunder?"
"Smack, smack....
I can't hear anything over Sassy slurping her ice cream!"
"Mmmmm, ice cream...Do we get seconds?"
Sassy will have to wait until the rain stops to enjoy her new can of tennis balls.

I was so worried about y'all with those tornado warnings they had on The Weather Channel yesterday! I am so glad you are OK.
Sassy sure looks like she enjoyed her ice cream!!! Happy Dog!!!
(Raider would be cowering on my lap if he heard thunder! He's a CA dog, we rarely get T-storms!)

Too bad for Sassy's party but this just means she will get like 1 and a half parties spread out over a couple days, right? And probably more ice cream just because. I'm glad you are all OK from the storms. We just had rain here in PA today.
PEE. ESS. Tennis balls can be enjoyed indoors as long as your humans don't get too excited with them.
