Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So, love the people who treat you right. Forgive, and then forget about the ones who don't.

Today's Chuckle
Two hikers round a corner and come face to face with an enormous bear that rises up on its haunches and roars at them.
"What do we do?" the first hiker asks.
"Run!"
"Do you really think you can outrun a bear?"
"No, but I can outrun you."
Happy Trails,

Wouldn't matter if I could out run a bear or not. I'd die of a heart attack before a drop of his saliva could hit my face. After watching Alaska week on Discovery, I'm truly afraid of bears now! lol
Kit I agree with Liz!!! As soon as I heard the first growl I'd be toast. I tell you one thing I learned from Alaska week...you don't mess with a mama bear and her babes...I don't care if you do weigh 300 lb more than she does. HA!!!
I taught primary school for 27 years, and loved every minute of it. I am now enjoying retirement on 30+ acres in the north Georgia mountains with my husband and Labrador Retrievers.
When we aren't hanging out in the woods, we enjoy traveling in our RV w/ the dogs. One of our favorite destinations is the Pacific Northwest, especially the Oregon and Washington coasts.
My parents are deceased, I am an only child and have no children; therefore, my husband and dogs are my family.
My blog and blogging friends have taken the place of my classroom and students.
You could say, I've gone from SCHOOL DAYS to DOG DAZE.

Jack said he would like to see a bear. I told him that nudity is not allowed in this house. He didn't get it! :)
Never want to find ourselves in that predicament... ever!

HAHA...although, I'm from Alaska, and really from UP NORTH...I would die of a heart attack too, like Liz, before the saliva even hit me!
Bears...and coincidentally porcupines SCARE ME to no end!
Just for future reference, in case we're together in Alaska in the summer ..... just how fast can YOU run? I wanted to be prepared!
Janet
